Content metadata

Content metadata is the most important work area of OSCRI. The metadata is divided into generic metadata and content-specific metadata.

Example content-specific categories include

- Audio
- Video
- Image
- Web-page
- Software

Beyond the content categories, metadata is also divided into three areas:

Creator metadata: Data generated by the creator of the work. This includes
- Name of work
- License
- Work type
- Tags

User metadata: Data generated by the users of the work, aka everyone but the creator. This includes
- Comments
- Ratings
- Tags
- Reviews

Traffic metadata: Data generated automatically by the traffic. This includes
- View count
- Downloads
- Broadcast estimates
- Revenue
